Hey guys! Here's the June Patreon Pack, featuring art by Pencils. Since I've started working on NAS, I enjoy the idea of the Crystal Castle being a dark fortress that the ponies don't really understand as a fortress. Like you could hand them a mace and they'd think somebody got seriously confused while making a toy ball. Who puts spikes on a ball? Who makes them out of metal? Is this like a cross between shot put and darts? What's the stick part of it for?

Granted we've seen them act smarter than that, but it's funnier to me and more internally consistent if they can't tell their right from their left.

Copy is currently working on the musical section of NAS episode one, while I'm handling the bulk of the remaining animation. I'm not entirely sure when the work will be done since I haven't put together an animation this ambitious in the past. Some sections are fast, some are slow.

We finally got Alphabet Parade done! Some of you may remember us talking about that project nearly a year ago! We didn't cancel it, we only worked on it veeeery slooowly. Most of the animation was done by NovaKing, who also goes by "EP" on our Discord server, so we have him to thank for that, but everyone worked on it in at least small part across its production. We've been looking forward to having it out for a long time now because the animation was very well done, and we like having a character cast by Goldvision.

Following that, we hope to have a song online called "The History of Pony". Like Alphabet Parade, it was concepted quite a while ago and we're just now finishing it up. It's a retrospective on the fandom and show and it's pretty catchy. This one of the projects we expected to have finished earlier, but, quoting Ved "It would take some kind of catastrophe to not be finished this month", so anticipate a catastrophe because it's all been cursed now!

Of course we've still got more Jaycartoons on the horizon, and their animation is getting tighter and more fluid thanks to experience. The simplicity of them is great for practicing motion and consistency.

Finally, for anyone interested, we have a Discord server! You join via the link below:

The link will expire within a day, but if you'd like a new one, send me a message and I'll send another link! We still hold game night every Saturday, meeting at 9PM central on the server.
