NAS Intro (Patreon)

Hey guys! Here's the first look at the NAS intro sequence, which will play at the beginning of every NAS episode. The first section with all the ponies was a lot of work, but the rest of it was a bit quicker. My intent with NAS is to use visuals better to justify the animation, which likely means drawing most backgrounds in Toon Boom and tackling the whole project in a more structured way.

Originally I was planning to have the giant hand pat Glimglam on the head and scoot her off to go play with Twilight, but there wasn't much time for it, the hand is classically animated, and also it's a hand so it's really hard to draw. Instead, I figured I'd have Glimglam wave like Pinkie did at the start of the intro.

The idea behind the whole animation is that I'm rushing from season 1/2 all the way to season 7, which means blowing everything up at once and rebuilding it to where it is now. I'm not entirely sure what actually happened in the context of the setting, but it involved a crossword puzzle, a song, a bit of magic, and a two-by-four.
