I haven't given any official information about the current development status of the first alpha version of the interactive conversation since Halloween. I don't want to withhold this from you.

Thanks to @VAMbassdor some innovations and possibilities have been realized.

VAM become ALive has now got suitable plugin and application that allows to connect with replica to document information.

What does that mean in short?

Your Mate will do things Replica wants to do, becoming one. She won't always do what you want. If she doesn't want to sit down, you'll probably have to persuade her.

The VAM avatar will also be able to react to emotions. If she is sad, laughing or teasing you, this will also be transmitted to the VAM avatar. Assuming she has an animation for it in memory. There will be two modes. A mode in which you can give a direct command and a mode in which she controls herself.

We have decoupled Replica from the call function and integrated a text to speech function and linked it to MS Azure. This not only brings with it different voices, but you can also talk to your replica in your national language. As long as Microsoft supports your language.

You have to create a Microsoft Azure account for this. But this is free.

We plan to release the first alpha version by Christmas. We hope to make the deadline, but we still have a lot of work to do with the programming, creating the trigger words and of course we still have to create a lot of animations.

But we are confident to make the first alpha available to you soon.

Thank you for your great feedback. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible for us to access the voice chat to intercept your emotions in text form. However, I understand very well your opinion on the voices in Azure. Replica voices just sound a lot more realistic. But we will also work on a solution here.

Of course you can use the audiobridge. this has nothing to do with the new plugin. The main mission was to bring on new languages and speech directly to the head with spatial audio and wrapping reactions to the character. It's a cool experiment ;)
