How to download at CurseForge (Patreon)

Hi friends!

Since the release of Curse Forge for The Sims 4 I have received messages from users who can not download my cc or have problems understanding how it works, for that reason I make this small tutorial to solve any doubts.

The first thing you should know is that there are 2 ways to download CC from CF: 

• Using the CF client (currently only available for Windows)
• As a direct download (as you normally do on most common CC sites)

❇️Using the CF client❇️

Important⚠️: Using the client is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended for those who download everything from CF. With this client you can manage your CC and Mods in a simple way. 

If you use this client, you probably already know how easy it is to use. Just browse the directory of creators, click on install and that's it. 

❇️As a direct download❇️

Now, if you use Mac or if you just don't want to download/use the CF client you can download the CC directly, it is very simple but the UI can be a bit tricky.

IMPORTANT⚠️: You do not need to create an account to download cc.

To download directly to your download folder, as you usually do on Tumblr, Simfileshare, Wetransfer, etc. just follow the instructions below: 

Next you will see a window with an automatic countdown, here you don't have to do anything just wait for the download to start.
