Your problem with Andrew is starting to get annoying, he didn’t have anything to do with Tara’s death Warren was the one who flung his arms around when shooting causing the bullet to hit Tara exploding her heart and making the blood splatter on Willow’s face

As is typical within BtVs, the books mentioned (as well as music played and class lessons) all tie into the episode plot in some way. Slaughterhouse 5 is certainly about war, but it also focuses on a character who can time travel, seeing the present, past and future. He can see it, but cannot effect any change- much like Cassie, who can see the future but cannot do anything to change it.
