I have to say I think I took this title very literally because I do indeed look like fear itself watching this episode. Be warned, it is chaotic. And yes, the coffee was definetly BAD.

Poor Buffy; the Angel thing is bad, then just as she starts recovering from that & feeling safe enough to open up, another bad experience... combine that with the upheaval from change in circumstances, it's not surprising she's having a bad time. Not only is Giles feeling less relevant after being fired from the council, at least he was still able to interact with the scoobies but now he's missing that a lot thanks to them being in college, he's clearly feeling pretty lonely - much the same applies to Xander too. I like the little call-back to the previous halloween one & getting savvy enough to take precautions, but things still ending up completely different from what they're expecting. Your chainsaw confusion... it's really easy to forget english isn't your first language :)
