Hi friends,

It’s been brought to my attention some old links aren’t working without downloading them. After the same thing happened to the finale video this week I’ve decided to move away from Google Drive. It was working for a while, but it’s become too problematic. I’ve been recommended the website onehub, and I’ve started the process of re-downloading and uploading all the videos to my new server there. I’ll do it as quickly as possible, and I’ll send out an update once I have changed all the links.

Thanks for understanding, Dom!

UPDATE: Hey guys I’m sorry, but please have some patience as I try and figure this out. I’ve been switching the Google Drive links to their respective Dropbox ones but it seems like the previews stop after 1 hour unless you download. I’m trying to find the best solution, will have this fixed ASAP but it seems like there is no consensus on the one “good website” for this.

Could I request that you perhaps discuss this with AlleyBox how has used Onehub since day one? Onehub has mostly worked but has been a bit shit for UK/European viewers for the first few hours after a video has dropped. This might be a demand thing, or a timing thing. Maybe Alley has a perspective on this?

Hey!! I’ve actually decided to use Dropbox instead! Hopefully that should work since I heard good reviews.

I haven’t really had any problems with downloading or streaming from Google Drive or Dropbox, and I like that if I’m streaming, I can adjust the video resolution to fit my current slow internet speed... which I can’t do with OneHub. At the moment, I’m screen-recording your reactions on a night shift to watch later because unfortunately the files are just too big for me to download (it would take 2-3 hours per reaction video and I only have 6 hours/week to download all the videos posted by various reactors that week). If there’s any way at all to make your reaction files smaller, that would be really awesome (I can manage to download up to about 1.5GB but bigger than that just takes too long).

I'm sorry, I don't think I can make them smaller :( I already compress each one because otherwise they'd be over 10GB! But I think you mentioned the Dropbox settings seem to be working so I hope that's a good alternative?
