So, I get that this episode was more focused on the Buffy/Cordelia dynamic, but I'm picking up some certain vibes from Faith. After Buffy gets dumped, Faith asks her fellow Slayer to the Homecoming dance, and Buffy says yes! When we first met Faith, she was living out of a travel bag, staying at a motel room that she had trouble affording the cost of eighteen US dollars per day. And yet, she shows up at the dance in a beautiful black dress - and this rugged badass has even done up her hair. Now, I'm no expert in romance, but if a young woman short on cash went to that much apparent effort to look nice, and if she had been expecting someone to join her at a dance that she had invited her to... I'm just saying that maybe Faith looks at Buffy and sees more than just another Slayer. And they were both 'starved' after killing Kakistos in Episode 3x03. But according to Faith, slaying makes you both hungry AND horny. So, after a nice meal, how did they celebrate their victory? Inquiring minds want to know! ~_^
