This is it (Patreon)
Content
We are now working on V1.0, the final build of Aurelia!
What does this mean?
For starters, it's going to be a big endeavor, the game is gotten quite massive after this 5 years, specially due to the patreon mentality of "gotta rush content out or people will lose interest"
But at the same time, that rush has made the game somewhat buggy, unpolished and inconsistent in many places.
Therefore, we will be moving away from that "Patreon lifestyle" and dedicating our full time from now on to finishing and polishing Aurelia to the best of our ability.
We will keep Patreon around, but change the rewards shortly according to what I've written above.
AND NOW THAT WE ARE DONE TALKING SERIOUS STUFF!
This is what you guys can expect from 1.0
- Probably the biggest build we've ever done, both in content and quality.
- A complete rework of Ivy's questline. Including all new dialogues and scenes.
- Finishing the main game storyline and giving it a proper ending.
- Adding the last few scenes for Duchess/Eri/Ivy/Scarlet.
- Big reworks to both Lily and Janet content, both in writing and a few reworked scenes.
- Testing and polishing almost every questline in the game as much as we can.
- Reduced or outright removed a lot of unnecessary "grind" / "fetch" questlines.
- 2 more locations.
- New OST, more in line with our retro feel. And yes, the old OST will still be there to those who want it!
- Much more structured game plan, no longer finding places you can't "unlock yet" or having to check the wiki/Naamu religiously.
- Integrated the EXTRA SCENES into the game as it's own mechanic related to a certain character.
So, when do we expect to have all of it done?
Most of Ivy's content is already done (you can check in our discord).
The Duchess/Eri content is soon to follow and our aim is to end that content by December.
After that we will dedicate the rest of our time to the Lily/Janet content and to finishing the game properly. Which means 1.0 will most likely be released in the first half of 2024.
In the behalf of the entire Mirthal Games team, I want to give you all guys a big thanks, this wouldn't be possible without you supporting us.
See you in the next (and final) build!
