**PLEASE READ**

 

1. "With so many changes, will my old save work?"

Yes. It will.

This said we do encourage starting a new save this time to enjoy the new mechanics, for that purpose we added:

-NSFW mini-scenes in earlier parts of the game (Janet/Scarlet) 

-SFW mini-scenes in earlier parts of the game (Ohro, Erza, Ivy)

-Experience bonuses for completing questslines.

-Experience bonuses for unlocking achievements.


2. "Will the dungeon be expanded in the future?"

Yes.


3. "Will that dungeon expansion include scenes with the enemies?"

Hell yes.


4. The entire dialogue system code was reworked to allow for future translations of the game. 

So there will likely be some dialogue issues (missnamed characters/cut lines), but the core of the game and progression should be unnafected. 

If you see any of those issues, feel free to report it to us.


5. We decided to delay some optional stuff like the new achievements so the build could be out sooner, we will add those in a hotfix as soon as we can.


All that said, sorry if this build took quite a long time compared to others.

Now that all these changes are out of the way we should be able to push builds after this one faster and more reliably.

  • Added a progression system, with levels, experience and attributes.
  • Reworked all the minigames so attributes affect them.
  • Melkor's Domain Minigame (dungeon crawler)
  • Lily's Alchemy Set (Potion crafting)
  • Added 21 Potions
  • Added Equipable Artifacts
  • Complete visual rework of most of the menus.
  • And another billion things.

 

Hotfix .1: 

Important - It's likely that the test tool we left in the bedroom (small portrait at the right of the clock) causes sequence breakers and crashes.

You can go to cheats and write "DUORESET", that should reset and clean the duo section of Ivy/Scarlet questline and get rid of any problems caused by the test tool.

Fixed: 

  •     The cursor dissapearing on some instances.
  •     Several missplaced names, and cut dialogues.
  •     A bug that was crashing the game once accesing the bedroom when all content was completed.
  •     Scarlet's sleeping scene force-skipping.
  •     The "Drinking buddies" achievement being able to be unlocked multiple times.
  •     Some scenes giving experience every time you replayed them.
  •     The settings exit not working if accessed from the start menu.
  •     The achievement menu displaying achievement information incorrectly.
  •     Visuals in the settings menu.
  •     Canceling spended attribute points causing minor visuals issues.
  •     Ivy's "naked in the room" scene having the incorrect dialogue.
  •     Audio issues in the dungeon.

Removed: 

  •     A test tool left in MC's bedroom.

Hotfix .2

Fixed

  • Several dialogue errors.
  • Talking to Ivy in her bed triggering a fatal error.
  • Fixed Soran dialogues automatically skipping.
  • Removed the default pixel interpolation in the android version so the visuals look cleaner.
  • Experience bar moving out of bounds in some instances.

Removed

  • Outdated dialogues.

Hotfix .3

  • Fixed several dialogue errors.
  • Naamu's clue incorrectly pointing to the 14th floor rather than the 10th for the wisdom staff.
  • Reduced the alluring fruits needed for Erza's quest (from 12 to 7) and Janet's pie (from 6 to 2).
  • All artifacts now have proper descriptions that tell you what they do.
       Abrac's Horn : Passively recovers your mana on successful actions.
       Orgo's Heart : MP burned are recovered as HP.
       Von Kamfeer's Helmet : 15% chance of massively reducing the damage recieved.
  • Tabern Minigame power-ups now give health/mana. (Mana in that game will have a function very shortly.
  • Scarlet's Anal scene triggering the wrong dialogue.

Hotfix .4

  • Added 41 Achievements.
  • Removed 5 outdated achievements. (Inventory Coin click)
  • Achievements will give less experience (from 200xp to 150xp).
  • Visaully improved the achievements sub-menu.
  • Changed some of the old achievement art.
  • Achievement gallery "back button" is now bigger and easier to click on.
  • Fixed an inventory bug that was making item functions stay even when swapping to an item without function.
  • Several dialogue errors.
  • Specified Lily's needed ingredient for "Lily's Concoction"
  • Fixed the attic door repeating the "It's locked" dialogue even when you've already go the contents from within.
  • Added experience rewards to Fishing and Karos Defense.
  • Fixed visual issues with the menu name display.
  • Removed the old "potion" option in the fishing minigame.
  • Fixed Janet's Journal page not displaying all her scenes correctly.
  • Fixed several cheating menu unnintended messages.
  • Added new cheats and reworked some old ones.
  • Removed outdated cheeats.
  • Fixed some visual issues with the Alchemy minigame.
  • Time will pass when entering Melkor's domain, and it will be unnavaliable at night.
  • Reduced some enemies health in Melkor's domain.
  • Reduced the amount of mana necesary for the water spell in the Melkor's domain (from 20 to 10)
  • Reduced the amount of mana necesary for the fire spell in the Melkor's domain (from 50 to 30)
  • Both Fire and Water spell skillcheck are easier by default.
  • Now the cost of the fire spell in the Melkor's domain will display properly.
  • Fixed issues with some attacks in Melkor's domain not working properly if the player had 40 agility.
  • Fixed the fire spell being able to be charged by just holding down the button.
  • Fixed the Garden tooltips giving wrong/incomplete information.
  • Re-Added the "Change name" option under settings.

Hotfix .5

  • Fixed some issues (crashing/missplaced dialogues) with the main questline

Hotfix .6

  • Fixed some audio issues that where made the "dungeon battle theme" play on menus and others.
  • Restored the Old Note meme powers substantially.


Android Installation:  If you download the .apk, please  make sure that the filename hasn't  changed after the download, some  phones change the extension to .zip  for security. If that's the case  change it back to .apk and install.If  this doesn't work, try using a different file manager to open the file.

My LG Q7+,downloads the .apk without changing the extension but then doesnt actually create an icon or let me play the game. This happened with the v17.6. Is my phone too old or is this something fixable?

IMPORTANT Clicking on the small portrait at the right of the clock in your room will trigger a test tool and will break up that save. Avoid it until the hotfix is released.

Hey, Just started playing the android version and I think I found a few bugs: 1. I'm on day 3 of a brand new playthrough, if I tap the small oval picture nex to the grandfather clock in my room it takes me to a Scarlet+Ivy NSFW scene, that should come up a lot later in the game (the dialog after the scene is about safely getting the girsl out off here) 2. On day 2 and day 3, in the morning, I tried going Ivy's room, the text says [closed], but then I'm placed in the room with a naked Ivy. Dialog says "Hey, how its the study going", then a few facial expression changes from Ivy without any dialog. Then I'm placed back in the corridor

Found a "bug" - started again to experience all thr changes. I clicked the small picture directly to the right of the grandfather clock, and it immediately entered a cutscene with Scarlet and Ivy, that definitely should be happening after the content in the last demo finished. I imagine it was a testing shortcut that got left in - or something along those lines.

How do you enter the new melkor tomb bit? I'm having trouble finding the real dwarven dagger for scarlet and can't really progress past having aquired the dwarven artifact from Dismas. Edit: Just checked an older further progressed save wich i already visited the tomb in the previous update but even in that save the tomb isn't showing up.

Found another bug - if you click Ivy on her bed after you first talk to her in her room in the evening, it crashes the game. It was reproducible, at least on pressing continue,

Hey mirthal, I have progressed to the BJ scene with Ivy and Scarlet. I have solved the clock enigma and have received the key. I haven't done anything with the key yet. I click on the chest in my room and nothing happens. I can't click on melkor's tomb and can't enter it. The dragon at the lake is currently telling me that I need to go to floor 14 of melkor's tomb. I'm not able to further the questline and I have talked to quite a few npcs at different times of the day. Is this a glitch? or a feature? If a feature what can I do with the key to advance the story line?

Meant to ask this earlier, is the game running slightly slower now? I've noticed that Melkor's Tomb puzzle is easier since the timer is longer, as well as the bar and wood minigame. Plus the scenes with Scarlet, Crystal etc seem to be running slower too

Scarlet/Ivy scenes are quite random. Tried to stay in Ivy's room to get to it, didn't happen. In morning have to speak with Scarlet on the couch and leave, Enter Ivy's room and it starts. Is it a feature or a bug?

Feature, once you unlock both of them in the journal, you can repeat them organically through play but they'll trigger randomly. You can still force them if you really want them, by entering Ivy/Scarlet room over and over at Morning/Night.

We have changed several minigames to scale with agility, and tweaked the numbers overall, so it's very possible that some minigames seem way slower/easier.

this isn't an issue so much as a it would be sweet thing, but i wish I could still have the option to just spend the evening listening to Amber making music even after I unlocked her scenes. It just feels intimate, like how you can cuddle with Ivy. I like those bits

Had to cheat a bit and read posts to clue into the trap door in Ivy's room. Is there an in-game clue I missed?

That certainly makes sense. I was more thorough during my room scans in the earlier version, as it was virgin territory, so to speak. btw, I just reported a fatal error in the load of the Karos Defense minigame. Hope it's repairable soon. I love that game.

I've just restarted a game to test out the new patch. If I recall, I finally got some brightbugs by working at the garden repeatedly and doing short runs at the bar for cash. Eventually, the garden thief event happened, and I encountered the thief at the lake. Since I'd been gathering lots of crops regularly, I was able to donate them to the thief for random rewards, including some brightbugs. It was a bit taxing, but I got a frog from fishing with those.

So now that I've played around with the dungeon a bit I have a couple suggestions. First, it's a "grab bag" of free stuff; you don't literally need to have something appear in every square of the dungeon floors. It would be more realistic, and not such an easy way to get infinite everything, if at least some, if not most, the non-enemy rooms were empty. Second, having to start from floor 1 every single time is tedious, not fun. You don't need to let players start up where they left off, but at least give an option to start, say, at floor 10 if you've at least made it to, if not past, that floor in a previous crawl. Thanks for keeping the dungeon crawling simple though; move around, loot some stuff, fight some stuff, find the gate to the next floor.

Thanks, Bulldog! Great suggestions. We do plan to have level skips that jump you several floors as an easy way to reach further levels. As for the "free loot," I agree entirely, but instead of having empty rooms (which are a bit disappointing) we instead would like to introduce more interactive events that are not just "grab free thing" (traps, merchants, and others) Many of those are even coded in the game, just disabled due to the lack of art/polish, but we'll make sure to add them next time we expand the dungeon.

I wish there is not a lot of grind in future. Diverse minigames are the selling point of the game, but long monotonous clickers can ruin it

For those confused about melkor's tomb it's not on the hill anymore it has it's own area in the map you have to unlock

Hey there! Not sure if anyone else has encountered this issue but - I've played through Melkor's tomb to like level 16 a couple of times and still haven't seen the prompt for the staff. Is this randomly generated? Or am I missing something? Thank you for your time!

You have to reach the point in Ivy/Scarlet quest where the staff is required, it won't spawn earlier.

I have the lock picks but it won't let me open the chest in my room is there a reason? Do I need to progress further into the story line?
