August's Map of the Month Preview - Abandoned Royal Gold Mine (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

It's also business as usual though, and we're cracking on with a preview of August's MotM.

As part of the kingdom project, this map is for the mine entrance in the left corner of the Kingdom map. 

This is going to be an abandoned Royal Gold mine, where the miners went too far and broke into a cavern with an ancient evil.

You'll be getting a 20x20 surface map and a 30x30 mine interior. The three variants will be for the surface (night, winter and badlands), but we'll be using the interior for the alt.

Alt-Version Ideas

So, we'd love to hear your suggestions for an alt-version of the mine itself (the underground map). How would you reimagine it? What other purpose could we make it work for? If not a mine, what else could this be?   Your suggestion should be a fantasy theme that involves modifying the mine map, not a completely new project
