February's Map of the Month Preview - The Wizard's House (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

Just days into January and we're already previewing February's Map of the Month. And boy, is it a bumper one!

Last month, amongst the many suggestions for January's Third Map (which was won by The Spring of Life) we spotted an idea from Daniel McCarthy who suggested a random circle of a wizard's workshop, in the middle of nowhere, after a teleport spell has gone wrong.

It wasn't the random winner, but we really loved the idea, and got thinking. Wouldn't it be cool to have a map of the wizards house? And also with a big sphere missing when the spell has happened? And some wilderness maps with the missing piece?

We just knew we had to make it, and so this month's MotM is a 30x30 Wizard House, with a bonus 30x30 teleport accident house, and three 20x20 wilderness maps, plus we're going to give a PNG of the circular section so you can use it wherever you need!

That's a crazy amount of mappage!

We've also planned out the three Variants of the main house. They are:

• Urban noble/merchant house
• Urban noble/merchant house at night
• Abandoned townhouse.

Alt-Version

We think that this map will be really exciting for an alt-version. We're asking you to suggest an alt version for the main house map (i.e. the intact house). Your suggestion should be fantasy themed, and remember the alt-version is a re-imagining and re-skinning of the map, not a map from scratch.
