December's Alt-Version Preview - Undergate Market (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

Time for a peek at December's Alt-Version. The MotM for December is The Quarry, and the winning suggestion for the alt was to turn it into a market, winding down into the pit.

It's a great idea, and we took it a little further. We pictured the location as an ancient entrance to the Underdark, and centuries ago rival societies built a gatehouse to protect and block the entrance. Generations later the two societies are now at peace, the gatehouse is an overgrown ruin, and a market has sprung up where these two societies meet and trade.   It's perfect as a jump-off point to adventures underground!
