July's MegaDungeon & Sci-Fi MegaMap previews! (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

We thought we'd combine the previews of both megadungeons/megamaps into a single post.

First up - the fantasy megadungeon. The winner of the poll was the Tower Under Mudstick Hill, with the concept of some ruins on a hill actually being the top of a buried tower. What a great idea - we love it!

So, the first level of this megadungeon is a surface ruin. We've actually made this particular level as a giant 50x50 map to give the hill a proper form (although we'll also provide a 20x20 cropped version). The levels below will be 20x20 each, but we wanted the surface map to clearly show the hill.

The Sci-Fi MegaMap (the first one!) is based on the winning poll idea of The Locus - an alien megastructure.  You'll be getting two 20x20  maps for the first month - a surface pyramid on a hostile cold world, and the interior of the pyramid.  It's been fun working on something to alien in design.

So, these maps will be in the July reward bundles - $5 patrons will get Mudstick Hill, and $8 will get Mudstick Hill and the Locus.
