We love having polls for the Alt-version, and usually it's a close-run thing, with two or three options coming close to winning. However, the poll for December's alt-version of the Desert Village was an absolute runaway, getting almost half of the votes. If you can't remember, the winner was an archaeological dig site in the desert.

We've deliberately kept the surface map a little ambiguous with regards to era/setting, so it would be equally at home in a fantasy, pulp, 1920s, or medieval setting, or even sci-fi if the culture is low-tech. The top level has a small camp, some cranes and supplies, and some ruins that can be entered.

The lower level is now a buried tomb/dungeon complex, with a room that hopefully lots of you will recognise - because honestly, you can't have an archaeological dig without a reference to Indy!   There are some stairs leading down that you can use to transition this map to any other map of your choice, or have as a handy spawn point for undead horrors!

Both these maps (top level and lower level) will be part of the reward bundle for Patrons at the start of December :)
