Third Map preview - The Cliffs of Insanity! (Patreon)

Preview time!  We asked you at the start of the month to come up with some settings from books you love that would make great battlemaps, and the infamous Cliffs of Insanity from The Princess Bride was the winner (It might not have won? Inconceivable!)

We purchased and read the book, as well as watching the infamous duel dozens of times, and so we've tried to cover both aspects in the map. In the book, there are no ruins, and instead the duel takes place in a clearing near some trees, at night (lit by moonlight), and with the rope tied to a tree. In the film, the duel takes place during the day in some clifftop ruins, with the rope tied to a boulder.

So, we've done two things. First, the map has a forested clearing on the left, and a set of ruins on the right. Secondly, we've made both a night and day version, with the location of the rope changing between versions. So, whether you want to make the encounter true to the book or the film, this map should work. We watched the fight scene enough times to get the ruins pretty close to the actual layout, including the bar for the fancy acrobatics! The map has turned out as a 30x30 too, to give enough space for the cliffs.
