Firstly, we have sent out the links for your April rewards package.  It's a great little bundle of stuff (The Lost Village of Perdingham 30x30 plus adventure supplement, the 30x30 alt-map Fort Perding and your Third Map The Pool of Awakening 20x30) and we hope you think it is a fitting reward for supporting us on Patreon this month.

Thank you so much for all your competition entries.  It was interesting to see the range of games everyone is playing - and the various video games until we edited the post to clarify our request! ;-)

We loved going through the list of competition entries and discussing how we could make them.  Wow, you guys came up with some great ideas and it was honestly very hard for us to pick.  We made notes on things that didn't go on our shortlist so we can try and fulfill some of these requests in the future.  There were quite a few that we were really keen on but that will need more than one storey to do them justice - for instance the manor house/mansion suggestions, which we have pencilled in for our May Drivethru schedule and the Wizard's Tower, which honestly is one we have had designed for so long as it was the next in our Tower Builder range and kept falling off the schedule.

We were pretty intrigued by Mark Mander's idea of a long yet narrow map journeying through a cave and it made us think of the "5 room dungeon" concept.  We got a bit carried away thinking of lots of different versions of this that could work, so perhaps keep an eye out for this Journey format in the future.

There were also a number of other suggestions that we loved but that would require quite a lot of work, ie lots of new items to be made etc, for instance the various lab/workshop suggestions (these all sound so fun), the zeppelin and the East Asian buildings.  We hope to look at making all of these soon and give them the time they need.

So, our shortlist had about 14 things on it (not including many of those above), all of which we would definitely like to make at some point.  We narrowed that down to a final 3 and ended up rolling a dice to pick the winner.  The top 3 were Carl's luxurious, fortified guildhouse,  Jörg Pentz's busy harbour area and Robert Trift's smallish wizard academy.

We rolled a 6, so the winner is: the wizard academy!

Congratulations Robert!
