Inertia (Oneshot) & Sharing the Nation: Chapter 22 (Due Revisions) (Patreon)

Oof.  Have I mentioned how I hate always posting nothing but excuses here?  This month really conspired against me… though it's really just an extension off of last month.  If you read last months chapters, you know that I ran into a logic burp at the end that cut things short.  I eventually decided that I could do what I had wanted to do anyway, but I still wasn't happy with the chapters, so I delayed posting them to Fimfiction.

This is more of that.  It took me forever to actually get a foothold into the chapter, then two thirds through the next chapter, I realized that I had missed something important that should have happened in one of the previous chapters, which just derailed everything.

So!  One-shot time!

The one-shot, titled Inertia for now (name suggestions welcome), is an old, old concept that's been sitting around for a long time.  In fact, I teased it in an old blog post so long ago that I can't find it.  It starts with an alternate ending to the season three finale and goes off from there.  Short and simple, now with extra Cadance backstory.  I'm fond of it.
