Well, for the first time ever, I'm posting a one-shot.  It's 10k words and… unique.  This is actually something I've had kicking around as a half-complete idea for years, and while I admit that part of the reason I dug it up and finished it was to fill my monthly quota and be able to actually buy Christmas presents this year, I'm also really glad to actually have it see the light of day.  It's a sort of 'mystery' story, but I make no claims about it's cleverness.  It's short, so it's more about playing out the situation than it is about actually leading the reader on, and I hope at least some of you find it entertaining.

That said, I think I've gotten ahold of my writing again, so I'm going to take a serious look at Sharing the Nation next, and hopefully there'll be revisions and a new chapter or two on Christmas.
