Chapter 6.2 【+3,700 Words】

And that's it for the chapter AND the month!  Now I just have to edit over 32,000 words.  There are a couple of things I definitely want to add—a bit of more romantic TwiLuna fluff at the start, making sure to describe some things, making it clearer that the dragons didn't just instantly integrate into pony society, and so on.

Oh, and Luna spinning in her chair, of course.

Chapter 5.3 【+2,500 Words = 5,300 Words】

Got a little behind in updating.  Just one more chapter to go before the end of the month!  I could technically get away with a 3,000 word chapter, but that would be weird and I should have the time to do it right.

Chapter 5.2 【+1,800 Words = 2,800 Words】

Part of the point of bringing Spike back into the story was so he could serve his canon purpose of being another character for Twilight to talk to when Luna isn't available… so the first thing she does is leave him behind and go on an epic sulking spree.  Oops?

Chapter 5.1 【1,000 Words】

Oh look, drama!

No—really—go look and give me feedback; I hope Twilight doesn't come off as too prescient?

Oh, and in case anyone notices, I removed top-tier access to the post for lower-tier previews to prevent confusion and email spam.

Chapter 4.3 【+1,650 Words = 4,500 Words】

Not so sure about these sections; they might get spiced up or cut down when I get to editing.  Obligatory reminder that previews are all draft versions.

Chapter 3.3 【+2,000 Words = 4,500 Words】

Chapter 3 is now almost done at 4,500 words.  I'm considering ending it here, actually, except for the point that this was a huge Spike/Ember scene and I don't want to give people the impression that I'm pulling a bait and switch by making them the new main characters, so I feel like I should round it off with a short Twilight/Luna scene.  We'll see.

Chapter 3.2 【+2,000 Words = 2,500 Words】

Chapter 3 has grown from ~500 words to ~2,500 words in the preview document.  I still have 500 more words to catch up for missing yesterday, but I should be able to make it up. 

(I figured editing this post with notifications enabled would be a good middle ground between creating a new post every 500–2,000 words and just not saying anything at all.  I'll probably make a dedicated updates post for the purpose soonish)

What do you know?  I've actually started writing in the first half of the month, and actually posting a proper scene-by-scene preview for it, too!  This is merged with the previous month's preview since that remains unposted and will until the end of the month.

Anyway, I'm aiming for 1k a day for the rest of the month, which should be entirely doable.  Here's hoping.
