Loving these reactions. Thanks again for doing this show. Definitely my all-time favorite comic book show and that's sayin' a lot considering how many really good shows there have been. You may want to tamp your theorizing until after the characters finish speaking since you may miss hints, clues and actual explanations to what you're theorizing about. If you do miss them though, you know we'll be here to inform you what you missed. :-D (doing this one my PC/laptop so no emojis) When Sif was naming the different alien races that are blue that she knew of, I'm pretty sure one or two of them were the races of Yondu and Nebula because I don't think they were Kree in the comics. It's never said in the movies what they are, because it doesn't matter to their stories at the moment. For some reason though, the one she mentioned, Centaurians, sounds familiar. Anyway, this was just a useless tidbit to say that the show was making comic book references. They did make a reference in the first episode of the show of something the MCU would not pay off until YEARS later which was Project Pegasus. Skye mentioned it when SHIELD first picked her up as something she'd uncovered that SHIELD has kept hidden.

Hey Thadman! If you're on Windows on your PC/laptop, you can press the Windows Key + ; to open up an emoji-menu, and express yourself! 👍 With regards to Project Pegasus; That's not actually a reference to Captain Marvel, it's a reference to the opening scene in The Avengers (2012), which also took place at the joint SHIELD / NASA facility at Project Pegasus. But, like you, I'd like to think Skye was talking about the old event from 1995, just because Coulson was there then as well. 😅

You may or may not have noticed that I didn't exactly keep up with trying to leave a comment for every episode. Turns out I have much fewer interesting things to say about this show on a rewatch than I thought I would so my comments were getting pretty repetitive. I think I'll stick to leaving comments if I actually have something to say that, in essence, goes beyond "This is a really good show" lol. That said, this episode always feels like my least favourite of S1, and I'm not sure why, it's not objectively worse than some other S1 episodes. Maybe it's just got to do with how drastically it shifts in tone from the last episode. Who knows! Anyway, loving these reactions, and there's a ton of good stuff ahead that I'm excited for.
