Gus knew Nacho could die and he was fine with that. Now that he pulled through though Nacho is in such a rough spot, Gus is such a meanie! The guy who stole the Hummel was in Breaking Bad. He ran the pest control crew in season 5. I would hardly call Gale wholesome. Gus paid for his education with the understanding that he would help him with these wicked endeavors. Quirky might be a more fitting description. The song he was singing is a real song by Tom Lehrer. He was both a brilliant satirist and musician among other things. Check him out when you have the time. Chuck wrote that letter while Jimmy was still in the mailroom. That is why it is undated. He always had to have his affairs in order just in case. He would have also been on at least somewhat amiable terms with Jimmy back then. Kim is a very enigmatic figure who can be difficult to understand. I believe her response was due to the way Jimmy read the letter. Like he has shut a part of himself down which can be a very sad thing to see.

Gale's *personality* is wholesome is more what I meant. Obviously he's not without flaws.

The time line probably doesn't work but I think what would have been funny is when Gale was talking about the quality of the samples he would have said "Some ding bat put Chili P in this one."

Yeah Jesse would have been in High School at that point. He wouldn’t have been that deeply involved in anything. Could be a legacy thing though, some guy he meets that teaches him how to do it. Funny thing about the timeline is that even in universe characters mess up ages and whatnot. Like when Mike called Jesse a teenager when he was really like 24. That was easy to explain though because for Mike he may as well still be a child.
