📽️ Week of December 4 📺 (Patreon)

Hey everyone, I need to shimmy a few of the things in the schedule to next week. What If is being a huge copyright problem for some reason (compared to all the other Phase 4 shows). The appeal that I had submitted on last week's What If video did not go as expected. It was successful, but I didn't earn revenue on it when I have with other appeals in the past. Perhaps I made an error... I'm still not quite sure. I don't want a repeat of that on 4-6 which keeps getting blocked. As much as I would love to just do an appeal, I don't want to risk it so doing the old method of re-editing until there is no more block.

I really struggle with prioritizing my to-do's when this happens. But I'm gonna take a break from this and get some watching done since we're already at Saturday! Gonna watch What If, AC, and BCS. And then I'll watch Mad Max: Fury Road on Sunday - really excited for that one!

Hello wonderful people! I hope you enjoyed The Cabin in the Woods and What If...? Episodes 1 - 3 last week. I am so happy that I was able to spark some enthusiasm for What If...? especially! I received a few comments from people saying they didn't give the show a proper chance when it released, but watching a bit of my edited reaction and seeing how much I enjoyed it made them want to revisit it. Comments like this are super sweet and I want to continue to bring that vibe as best as I can!

Expect all of these to drop at the end of the week and throughout the weekend. I got my new microphone, so setting that up first (and also doing some much needed office cleaning and rearranging, WOOP WOOP).

Over the weekend, I spent a lot of time re-watching some stuff with my friend who was watching for the first time. The Last of Us ✅ Ahsoka ✅ Barbie ✅ It's so fun to flip the script and be the one in the reaction viewer shoes. Speaking of Barbie, if y'all haven't seen the Actors on Actors that released today with Margot Robbie and Cillian Murphy it is definitely worth checking out. The AoA that was released yesterday with Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo is on my list to watch soon too.

Another thing on my list to watch is this monster video essay by hbomberguy (nearly 4 hours long) that focuses on plagiarism and how rampant it is across YouTube. Plagiarism vs. inspiration was something so drilled into me as a child in school that it has forever stuck with me, but it feels like a lot of people out there have lost the understanding of the difference between the two. I don't know if anyone has really dove into it in the way that this particular YouTuber did with this video. Just assuming that based on the length of the video and some of the top comments I see, anyway. 😊
