glad you enjoyed the movie, and yea IMO the best horror movies are simply a movie with horror in it, the story comes first, it makes the horror elements hit harder and more meaningful. cant wait for chapter 2, its definitely my favorite of the two. i have so much to point out in this movie that hints to 2, but that will have to wait for your watch of two haha as always great reaction, if you want more that have good stories under the horror, highly recommend A Quiet Place, Nope, (Get Out as others have said is on my list because its apparently great) Super 8 is fantastic and very obviously inspired by Steven Kings works like IT, Cabin in the Woods is great too, it deconstructs the horror genre and is like a commentary on it, good amount of humor mixed in too. also a full on Comedy Horror is tucker and dale vs evil, there is no other way to describe it, its wild haha, but its more a silly comedy than a solid story, still fun though there is probably a lot more im not thinking of right now but these are some of my favorites but yea, cant wait for chapter 2 haha

Yay! Thanks for doing my pick! I for some reason only got a notification for this today! Anyway, Super glad that you enjoyed the movie KL, the characters are great, Pennywise is really cool (wish Bill got an award for his performance tbh, it's great), and yeah i think this is a great movie to show people who haven't really gotten in to horror movies, or struggle with them (i for one have only seen these two, and a couple others lol) Super glad you want to watch chapter 2! Its a super long film though haha Pennywise feeds on kids, general people, but kids are better because it's much easier for him to transform in to childhood fears, and fear basically "seasons" the meat, for lack of a better word lol. That's all I'll say on him aha. Thanks again 😃

Yes, I thought this was a pretty good movie to ease me into the more serious horror films! Thanks again and for all the info as well. Glad you enjoyed the reaction. Yeah, I saw Chapter Two was a long one LOL. I'll definitely be planning that during a week that feels a bit easier on me.
