Like I said in the outro, the rest of this show will go by pretty quick. We'll definitely be finished before month-end with the strong possibility of starting Agents of SHIELD S1 before December.

Hey KL! This was great fun! I hadn't watched this show in a long time and honestly forgot most of what happened, so this was a fun revisit! The final setpiece of this season, with Peggy on the radio talking to Stark, really is a strong parallel with her doing the same with Steve at the end of the first Captain America movie, which really struck me. I think these scenes definitely landed differently back in 2015 when we didn't know how Steve and Peggy's story ended. I agree with your interpretation of how Howard managed to break free from the hypnosis in the end. The whole hypnosis thing in this show felt a bit hokey to me, but to be fair, with its superheroes and magic and sci-fi, I'm not sure why this particular bit would be a hangup. 😅 I'm sure S02 will be great too (I don't remember anything from it), but damn really I'm just so excited for you to get to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.! 🏃‍♂️💨

It was a really good parallel, yes! And you make a good point about how when everyone was watching this at the time, nobody knew the end of their story. I'm coming into this from a slightly different perspective which is fun! I'm excited to get to it too. 😊 It's gonna be so fun!

I'm still watching the reaction, but just one thing you asked was you wondered why Howard didn't just jump out of the moving car when he was being kidnapped. It was a cop car so they don't unlock from the inside, in the back seat. You probably realized this by now.

Heh, everyone I've seen that watched this says the same thing at the end with Souza, "SHOOT HIM! SHOOT HIM!" then you find out it wasn't necessary. xD
