yea it's looking like baylan's story isn't going to be wrapped up here which is tough, obviously. they could continue it through a comic or perhaps another tales of the jedi short, something like that.. there's options at least, that wouldn't have to rely on ray in live action.. i felt kinda bad for shin in this one.. she kinda got bailed on and i did not see that coming and neither did she, i think. and then she got beaten and bailed on again. she looked really lost honestly. extra random thought - it's gotta be pretty rare to have a live action story that then continues in animation, and then is picked back up again in live action with full continuity. like hayden is picking up where animated anakin left off, which he wasn't involved with, but was based on him to begin with.. it's just really wild and awesome to see still. he seems to have embraced that legacy so much too and knows exactly how to run with it and merge it back into his own portrayal. also, i can't believe i didn't make the slingshot connection, nice catch!

Shin may very well join up with Sabine and Ahsoka.. she and Sabine had an interesting glance at each other before. We'll see! And yes I fully agree with you on Hayden's performance. It is really well done. I can see how he's involving Matt Lanter Anakin-isms, and it's great!

I LOVE THIS SHOW! SO MUCH! The entire cast is fantastic and incredible! As for this episode, I thought it was really good. It’s definitely setting us up for a lot of stuff, which I think we may resolve like 1-2 of the many plot points in the finale. Theories: All the Bad Guys except Baylon and Shin will escape the Galaxy this next episode, I think it’ll be a situation where our Heros fly over the the Chimaera and get their as they are leaving and will be too late. Shin might try to run back to the Chimaera and ends up getting left behind, allowing for our Heros to snatch her up. Then they all go see what Baylon is up to and we get a sneak peak at something for a season 2 of Ahsoka /Mando season 4/ a new show. Meanwhile we see Hera get proven right about Thrawn’s return as he destroys a small New Republic fleet upon his arrival back to the galaxy proper. I think that we’ll probably get a season 2 of Ahsoka and a Mando season 4 where we get to experience the Galaxy under Thrawns influence before Dave’s movie concludes it. Think if Clone Wars came out before Revenge of the Sith. That kind of vibe. I could also see them doing these things as well: 1. We don’t see Shin again until a season 2 or something like that, or maybe a scene of her alone with her Wolfe by a fire just to show us she’s out there in the last episode. 2. None of the Heros get back to the main galaxy yet, I think that this one is actually quite likely to happen. Because they either have to split up or leave Thrawn or Baylon for later, there definitely isn’t time for both. Things I noticed/liked: 1. Sabine didn’t tell Ezra about JASON??? Like Hera having a kid is kinda HUGE NEWS! 2. Admiral Ackbar was sitting next to Xeonno in the Senate Meeting 3. Shin seemed conflicted these last two episodes; questioning Baylon more, comparing herself to Ezra, hesitant to retreat with the Nightroopers but also hesitant to surrender to Ahsoka. Ivanna Sakhno has just done such a stellar job portraying Shin’s emotions, determination, focas, and anger. Like everyone’s performances have been stellar, but with so few lines yet so much screen time Shin has been a very unique presence on screen. 4. Baylon is worried about whatever he is about to try and do, he is giving me some similar vibes to Thanos but different in a good way. I was surprised to see him send Shin out alone. 5. Ahsoka being more light hearted and happy has been fantastic to see, I loved her laugh and reunion with Ezra and Sabine! 6. I love how they incorporated C-3PO in this episode, obviously it is doubly difficult to portray a 28ish year old Leah, so having her trusted Droid be a messenger was creative and delightful. 7. The Nightsister Mothers have yet to use any Green Magic, that is strange. 8. The Night Troopers seem to not be dead, moving pretty organically, not exploding in green smoke, and talking clearly. So what is with them then? I think they might still be dead, because Marrok moved and spoke well enough. 9. Anakin has still got it, the recording of him was great, especially with his name dropping Ventress! Also Ahsoka did watch a recording of Anakin in Rebels, she talked to Ezra about him, though I think that video was on Kannan’s Hollocron.
