I'm so with you on the in-theater wish. I, too, only saw it on the small screen. but the amount of eye-candy overwhelmed me, as well as the powerhouse cast. As you acknowledged, multiversal elements are all the rage going forward. I'm eager to continue your journey .

WOOHOO!!! You finally met the best Avenger, The Cloak of Levitation! I am so happy you enjoyed this one. This is a top ten MCU film for me. Something a lot of the fandom likes about this one is the “boss” battle with Dormammu. The way Dr. Strange outsmarted the big bad rather than physically beating him. Strange knew he couldn’t win, so he chose to lose for as long as he needed to in order to keep the world safe from Dormammu and the Dark Dimension. Good stuff!!!

This is my top favorite MCU movie. It's got magic, time manipulation, good visuals, and a good story. The Cap-America movies are good too, but are a different type of movie.

Oh yeah, this movie is so different from the Cap ones, but I had a great time. ☺️

So glad you enjoyed this one as much as you did, KL. I'm sorry that camels may be hard to come by in Nepal, otherwise you could knock out two bucket list items in one go. Hope you get to make that visit sooner rather than later - it does look stunningly beautiful.

Great reaction!!!!! Wish I still did mushrooms, this would be a awesome trip lol.

This is my first comment on your Patreon. Loved your reaction. Glad that you enjoyed it. One of the best parts of the movie apart from everything else is the Cloak. They should have added the Cloak in the credits alongside the cast. :D So, two little fun facts about this movie. 1. In Winter Soldier, when Cap was interrogating Jasper Sitwell on the roof about the algorithm, he gives out a list of names of people who Hydra considered dangerous. One of the names he mentions was Stephen Strange. A little heads up from Marvel I guess. 2. When Strange was discussing patients in his car, the first patient his assistant mentioned was an Air Force colonel with a broken spine. He was referring to Rhodes' injury from Civil War.

It feels like so many people, including myself, missed the reference that Strange had the chance to work on Rhodey after the accident in Civil War; he was one of the cases during the driving sequence. Also, I think pairing up the "What If?" episodes with their original movies should be suggested, hitting "What If?" so late after seeing their reference points is disappointing in the sense of missing so much due to memory degradation. Indeed, the emotional impact of the Doctor Strange What If? episode will be less if viewed nearly two years later.

One thing to keep in mind and this isn't spoiler territory or anything else, but what Strange did to defeat Dormammu is something Dormammu didn't know was possible, so a being of that level of power has learned something new. I suspect this at least.

Welcome to the new Marvel Studios intro. It is pretty much against the law to skip it from here on out, so enjoy. It may not always be the same either, so watch closely. 😉 Been looking forward to this reaction -- Doctor Strange is a fantastic character who adds a LOT to the MCU as a whole.

Yeah I definitely missed that too! The "What If?" stuff won't be watched for quite some time. I would rather watch it all in one-go instead of split out. This is my preference. And it won't be viewed nearly 2 years later, MCU is about to become a weekly thing starting in May. I just took it down to every other week because of The Last of Us. I should be caught up on all the films and necessary TV shows before the end of the year and for the stuff that isn't necessary, I will most likely watch those here on Patreon and publish them at the Insiders tiers.

Mirikal

No worries there. The first couple of episodes are tied to Captain America: The First Avenger, and Doctor Strange, so re-watching them before watching the What If? episodes might be a good idea.^^ I'm avoiding spoilers, of course; that's just a suggestion.

Had such a great time watching your reaction to this trippy experience. Yeah, there is a lot that is similar to Inception, only just dialed up to 11 😍
