I adore seeing Hera get to fly the first B-Wing! The Star Fighters that Phoenix squadron have been using so far are A-Wings. We first see both A-wings and B-wings in Return of the Jedi, so it’s really cool to see the Rebels using them outside of the movies. And your totally right about Kallus just sorta bro there all the time, is it a tad contrived? Maybe, but I think you can justify it with saying that we just SEE many of the times Kallus is involved😅. Also Kannen recommending that Hera gets promoted is a really cool sign of character progression for not only Hera, but for Kannen as well. At the beginning of this season he was really not on board with joining an army, but he’s warning up to the Rebels! I love how Kallus was in SHOCK after Hera beamed that Light Cruiser! A beautiful scene!

Definitely my favorite episode of the show to this point. Super cool to see the inventor of the B-Wing and even cooler to see Hera is the test pilot.
