For the best watchalong experience, I strongly recommend watching on your computer and using Firefox's Picture-in-Picture feature. With this feature, you would make my reaction video full-screen and pop-out your copy of the episode so that it sits over my video. Move it right over my blurred episode in my video and re-size to your liking. 😊

Jedi Mandalore (Dylan)

So this is a whole new planet to the Star Wars universe known as Daiyu a Neo Cyber Hong Kang a nice contrast to the very retro clean 1950s futuristic architecture of Alderaan. It feels alot like the lower levels of Coruscant that very Bladerunner look contrasting the more 1950s space age look combined with hints of Art Deco. I also loved that we saw Temuera Morrison return to Star Wars but this time as an aging, destitute clone who would be in his 50/60s at this point. From his armour it looks like he was a member of the 501st the "Boys in Blue" who were under the command of Anakin Skywalker. In the EU (not sure if this carried over to canon but is mentioned in EU books) at the end of the Clone Wars Vader's Fist was formed by members of 501st Legion giving these Clones new equipment such as the Stormtrooper armour and Imperial Weapons with these former Republic Clone's becoming the first Stormtroopers led by Lord Vader himself. If this is true within the canon then I wonder why this Clone didn't become a Stormtrooper or maybe by this point in time the Empire has just replaced most Clones with normal recruits, Early Empire years is very unexplored so these details are lacking just stuff I remember from books and games. But on your point the Clones did indeed survive after the Clone Wars with many of them training Stormtroopers but it's never really brought up in a lot of media besides the novels. Head canon wise the Stormtroopers who boarded Leia's ship in A New Hope could be made up of mostly Clones along with the Snowtroopers on Hoth who could also have a Clones within their ranks as both times these Stormtroopers were under Vader's command, Vader Fist. Funny enough these two times were also two of the few times Stormtroopers actually won a battle and hit their targets so would make for a fun little hint at these being Clones. Reva knowing that Darth Vader is Anakin Skywalker is a big problem as the identity of Vader was a well kept secret. Maybe she went through the Imperial and Jedi archives and found the videos of Anakin attacking the Temple putting things together. There's so many questions so I'm excited to see them getting answered. So yeah Grand Inquisitor was not expecting that at all. No details but timeline wise this is a little troubling but interested to see where this does lol Overall loved this one as well and can see why they released the two on the same day. Hopefully this series doesn't spoil any of the events of Clone Wars from Flashbacks to references etc mostly for the later Seasons like 5 to 7.

Just watched this for the 3rd time. It gets better every time I see it. I love how they brought a clone veteran into this episode, that voice is unforgettable. The asshole that kidnapped Leia and punched Obi is Flea from RHCP. Waiting a week for the next episode is giving me flashbacks to when I’d have to wait for GOT. Overall I’d say this show is off to a great start despite what the shitty internet has to say, and I’m a tough critic especially when it comes to SW. thanks again Kaiielle for sharing your reactions.

The clone veteran was a lovely surprise! Yep, knew about Flea. Such great casting LOL.
