And that's a wrap! It's Saul Gone.

Click here to watchalong with me.

I chat for quite a while at the end of this, not just about this finale, but the show overall, and my plan moving forward for how I want to bring these reactions to YouTube and provide something unique in the reaction space.

Thank you SO much for spending so much time with me through this journey. Your company for my first time watching has been so valuable. Thank you for all the fun fact sharing, sharing your own thoughts and opinions on acting, episodes, characters, moments. Thank you to those of you who decided to watch for the first time TOO, you made me feel not so alone in this and it was fun to speculate with you.

Cheers everyone! ❤️

Yeah this finale broke me down emotionally 😅 it's such a beautiful, bittersweet ending to an amazing show. Jimmy owning up to what he did in court was basically a mirror of Walts "I did it for me" with Skyler. He just confessed to it all, and in doing so, he redeemed himself in a way Walt never could. Jimmy got his soul back. The whole Time Travel question from what I understand is "loosely" (again, very loosely) based on A Christmas Carol. Jimmy is visited by three ghosts of the past, asking the same question, and after the last ghost, he was changed. It's so touching that his true moment that he'd change was with Chuck. How he wished he'd tried harder and spent quality time with Chuck. Hell, if they'd done that, their relationship might be healed more, and so many issues would be resolved. Chuck may have seen Jimmy as more of the person he is, not the old version of Jimmy Chuck remembers. I absolutely adore the three endings we have for the three pillars of this universe. Walt died, Jesse got out and escaped, and Jimmy went to prison. All three fates are deserved by the three people. (Sure Jesse prob needed to go to prison as well, but after all he suffered towards the end, I dont think anyone wanted him to) Jimmy didn't deserve death like Walt, but he definitely shouldn't have gotten away either. One detail I think you may have missed is when Jimmy mentioned Chuck in court, they went up to the exit sign shot once again. You could hear the buzzing just like you could in Chicanery. It's like he was in the room again. One of my personal favorite moments in this finale was the bus scene. It's a nice scene, but beneath the surface, it's really adorable. Sure Saul was a criminal, but when you think about it, he did what other lawyers wouldn't. He defended the criminals that no one else would. Like Chuck said, they all deserve that fair defense with the law. So to them, Saul is like their hero. Gave them probably the best defense they could've gotten, given his skill and mastery at manipulating the law to his advantage. Even though Jimmy will spend the rest of his life in prison, seems like he's not gonna have too bad a time at all. I love Breaking Bad, but there is a brilliance to BCS that puts it right up there, and in some aspects, even surpasses it for me. So glad you enjoyed the show!

Thanks for sharing! Oh I didn't miss the Exit sign moment, I should have said something! I think I was just too focused on paying attention on Jimmy's words specifically. Was def a great shot. Agree, the three fates are fitting. I'm glad Jesse is free, he's my fave and went through hell and was stuck when he wanted out.

I think Kim was just proud of him for finally coming clean about everything, I would say especially so about Chuck. I think that moment of him getting his license back and fooling the board (and her) stuck with her this entire time. Basically that was the moment the name Saul Goodman was official, so it is fitting when he comes to terms with his relationship with Chuck that this is when Saul is gone. I love this show, and it's funny it recommended Dexter to you (for people who have seen both, they might know why). It's definitely a good show(Dexter), but I think it isn't as popular as it could be because it kind of had a similar GoT effect, of falling off hard at the end.
