Episode title getting me HYPED! Click here to watchalong with me.

I'm going to put a bit of space in between the final two episodes. Going to share Agents of SHIELD and Moon Knight first for other folks and then drop the last two for this series.

It's been such a wild journey, thank you for being here!

I love all the cameos we get of the Breaking Bad crew. It's a good nod and a bit of a farewell to their characters. It is, of course, the most noticable with Aaron Paul, going from mid 20s in BB to now over 40, but it's fine for just a small, fun scene. Can't wait for the last two episodes! I think they are great.

Gene did live normal life for a while. But after the scare of being found out by Jeff, I look at it like an alcoholic having a relapse. After the call with Francesca, and the muted call he had that we didn't hear, I think he's coping with whatever was said by just returning to familiar territory. Something he can excel at and he can distract himself with. I get what you mean about not rooting for Jimmy anymore with the present period as Gene, but honestly I kinda disagree. I think he's way different than Walt is. He's definitely not innocent and yeah I roll my eyes and sigh at him going back to Slipping Jimmy schemes, but there was a level of greed and evil that definitely isn't present in Jimmy, that was ever present in Walt. Being Heisenberg gave him the opportunity to be the type of person he always wanted to be. Jimmy has genuinely tried to be better, but many people (mainly Chuck) kept shoving this idea down his throat that he can never change and it's pointless. At some point, probably just before Chucks suicide, when he pushed him away, Jimmy picked up that narrative and started to believe it. And he just kept on falling into that pit. Not to excuse Jimmy at all, but I absolutely feel more for Jimmy at his worst than I do for Walt 😅

Yep definitely relapse vibes, I can see that! And I have a lot more happy feelings about Jimmy more than Walt in the end for sure, as he obvs didn't end up with the giant list of crimes that Walt had committed. Strictly from the monetary side of things with greed, the late Jimmy era and the entire Saul era was sooo different than Walt and in a way that I don't personally care for. The excess with the decor in his office, his house and everything inside of that, all of his clothes, the car. Saul was incredibly materialistic, showy, and spendy. Walt was greedy in a numbers and "ownership of his work" way, but maintained the outward appearance that a lot of wealthy people do in our real world, where you can't tell by looking at them how much money they have. Walt did have that brief slip-up with that fancy car for Walt Jr. 😅 Anyway the lack of materialism vibes in Walt is about the only thing that I can appreciate about him looking back. 😆
