The other commentor really drove it home well, but I wanted to talk about some of my favorite scenes as well. So Gus and his scene with David. It's never of course actually confirmed, but its heavily implied by dialogue, Gus and Max back in Breaking Bad.... were most likely not just partners in business. Gus likely was romantically involved with him, also making more sense as to how intense Gus hates Hector for his murder. With that context in mind, it's really heartwarming to see Gus clearly flirting with David. Gus, the cold and calculating guy who pushed his emotions deep down, is clearly enjoying himself and genuinely getting close to a new man. I think what made him decide to leave was that wine. That taste of blood is what Gus wants. The moment he finished his drink, his smile faded into his classic Gus look as the piano played down on a scale. He's reminded of Max, what happened to him, and Gus cannot give up his desire for revenge. So he cuts off the connection with someone with whom he could truly be happy. But, it's the Breaking Bad universe. Clearly no one is allowed to be happy for long 😅 I loved that short scene with Mike and Nachos dad. We clearly like Mike because we have history with him, and we know why he does what he does. But Nachos dad was fully right. Mike being a well written character, doesn't actually justify what he does. He's a killer. He wasn't after Justice when he killed his sons murderers. He wanted revenge. Gus doesn't want justice for Max. He wants revenge. To torture Hector endlessly in his new life in a wheelchair. That cycle never stops. It's just killing, again and again. The shot with Mike behind the fence, mimicking Mike being caged, and Nachos Dad being free, proves this. Mike is just like the other criminals. He has a code of honor yes, but his actions don't really change. Mike is in the game just like the rest of them, and as much as we love him, he is absolutely morally compromised. This episode really gives me the feeling of an ending. Same with the previous episodes, following Howard's death. He and Lalo being buried under where the lab will be, Jimmy being alone as Saul Goodman, Mike being jaded and working for Gus, Gus falling deeper into his plot. It all gives this soft feeling of "Its all coming to an end." It's a very somber note, but wow, what a ride it's been. Can't wait for the final episodes!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I agree with you that it did feel like an ending, kind of driving home even more that I thought the season was 10 episodes like all the others. 😂

I love every scene with Rhea. You can definitely see throughout the show that she has the most fun of her life when she was being slippin kimmy with jimmy, but it's like the ol saying goes, "it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt". My dad would always say that to me when we were doing crazy stuff around the house, I wonder if that's the tie-in to the episode title. They always have fun with the titles.
