Dearest Patrons, we have decided to finally make a "behind the scenes" video. We'll talk about who we are, why we are doing this, how our process is and we'll answer the most asked questions. Is there anything you guys would like to know?

How do you animate the video's what software, and what is the process from start to end (designing to publishing)

I'd like to know how to come upon the topics for the videos. Must be an interesting process. Also I'd like to understand how to confirm your information, like what sort of sources you reference. My thoughts :)

I'm curious of the process of digesting big amount of information in such short videos where is it actually quite easy to understand everything =)

Why start Kurzgesagt? What is the ultimate goal of these videos?

1. How this multitalented group formed up in the first place? Why did you decide to work together? 2. You got a lot of things to coordinate, music, video, voice scripts, research… how do you do it? 3. When you decide an interesting topic for a video, what are the most common difficulties? Do you gather information through books, the internet or where else? 4. Have you find the crowd funding model viable? Is there future for it? What would you say are its advantages; do they bring you closer to your public? 5. Why the birds? Why Duck? Are they planning on taking over the world? 6. What other things do you have planned for the future? Are you still thinking on making apps?

What are your plans for the future? I would love to see you tackle complex subjects in a series of educational video's, I believe that the future of education is in this type of animated visualization. One of the hardest things when learning a subject (for example Biology) is visualizing a mechanism from a big chunk of text, your video's set the scene for someone to go into greater depth in their own time. Favorite video so far is "The Immune System", very well done.

Why is Steve's voice so English sounding, is he English!?
