Quetzal Glare (Patreon)

WIPy of one of my quetzals, who I haven't drawn in like ever.  

This one here is making use of his hypnosis powers, hence the glowing eyes.  While they can lace their "voice" with hypnotic power, it's not really the same as actual hypnosis - it's more like 'subtle persuasion'.  A little here and a little there combined with some traditional smooth talking and they can be pretty good at convincing people that they're the best thing ever. 

Direct eye contact makes it easier and lets them in on more powerful tricks and stuff, but if they can't get that eye contact then they stick to words.  Since they use psionics to translate their thoughts into sound when 'talking' to most other species, if you can hear them then they can work their magic on you.
