And that sub is just moments away from exploring even deeper, darker depths! Far too close to the massive shadowy serpent to escape, it'll soon find itself engulfed by the soft flesh of his throat and swallowed whole, forcibly pushed down into his stomach where a previously eaten meal is still digesting. 

In time, it will end up being the latest addition to the heaps of mangled scrap metal strewn about the gorge, regurgitated after the morsels inside them had been claimed. With another vessel and its crew lost to the shadowy leviathan lurking in these dark depths, it won't be much longer before this region of the ocean is designated as off-limits.
