Mizutsune Monday 8 (Patreon)

 Mizutsune Monday:  A doodle every Monday, to celebrate what great prey mitsunes make.  

This week is... Different.  It's basically a creature that eats colors and has a see-through stomach (Which I may or may not keep, playing around with the idea for now but I'm not sure I'd like it on larger "prey"). It swallows its "prey" whole, stretching to fit them entirely inside its stomach cavity, after which the victim's colors melt right off them.

After the creature has finished separating the colors from their former owner it regurgitates the indigestible victim  -  minus whatever colors it had of course. Those continue to slosh about in the color-eater's belly for a few days as they are slowly absorbed into its body. Its victim regains their color eventually, usually after a day or two.

 Pictured here is just minutes after the color-eater had regurgitated the inedible mitsune, who's more than a little confused at what just happened.    

Not sure how the idea popped into my mind, but I was struggling to think of something to do this week and then this came into my mind, and I found it too amusing to pass up.
