Raptor Anim Basic (Patreon)

Honestly, what even are titles? *shrugs*   Anyway, this tiny little animation... Took me over eleven hours just to set up.  Every time I tried to correct some mistake, three more would pop up  -  if I was lucky. Sometimes five would pop up, or something would go horribly deathly wrong and I'd have to roll back a save and thus lose who knows how much progress. 

There's still more I could have done,  like have the body not be perfectly lined up horizontally (as in, lean forward or back a bit) and make sure the feet don't look like they're just sliding on the floor....... But I wasn't willing to spend another 4 ~ 6 hours tearing my hair out over adjusting keyframes and joints when it looks "good enough" as it is. 

Yeah, a full day's worth of work... On a video that's three seconds long. I have developed a new level of respect for people who do character animation. Already respected 'em a great deal, but after trying it out msyelf a bit.... xD   ((To be fair I don't have anyone teaching me this stuff, so it's all pretty hit and miss for me))

So. Here be the full animation.  Why 'basic'?  Because this is the lil guy fidgeting about without the animated texture (he be going invisible while fidgeting!) and I've set up an actual scene for him to fidget in rather than an empty white void. ^^
