Hello everyone, another week, another Digital Foundry #content meeting, another blog post to write up concerning its contents! We had the full team complement this week, so this is what we've got cooking for you.

* Rich (ie me) got a little bit side-tracked by the Steam Deck OLED input lag testing this week, but my priorities are, essentially, to get the PlayStation Portal review done, then move onto the likes of the PS5 'Slim' (still in transit) and the AyaNeo Kun. I'd also like to look at the Lenovo Legion Go, assuming we get a review sample at some point. Still keen on looking at the Atari 2600+ and the illusion collaboration mega-project (essentially FPS Boost on Hacked PS5s) also waits to be done. ALSO... budget PC (12100F/RX 6600) vs PS5 - it's on the books.

* John is working on a smaller video looking at the Model 3 emulation of Daytona USA 2 and Fighting Vipers 2 within the latest Like a Dragon game and then, yes, he will be starting work on the mammoth project that is Gran Turismo 7 vs Forza Motorsport.

* Tom polishes up Modern Warfare 3 in the next day or so, then moves onto EA WRC. We've talked about the PC version not once but twice in DF Direct Weekly, so it's time to get a look at the full picture - consoles included.

* Oliver is working on the background on his Games of the Year video for December, but is also tackling a couple of other projects - similar to the PC 'health check-up' we did for Unreal Engine 5, we'll be doing the same for consoles. Also, he's going to look at potential upgrade paths for Steam Deck owners: the 1200p Deck HD screen replacement, Steam Deck OLED or... ROG Ally.

* Alex is polishing up our coverage on the console (and PC!) versions of Teardown and that should be going out on early access to premium tiers today and public tomorrow. Beyond that, he's editing up an interesting UE5-based tech interview which will likely go up on the weekend and he's also keen on a console/PC three-way video based on Arma Reforged - one of his favourite game franchises.

Moving into my traditional 'freestyling' closing paragraphs, I guess my principal question is this: we were effectively locked out of PlayStation 5 'Slim' coverage based on our geographical location. There was no Modern Warfare 3 bundle with the Slim in Europe, it's the standard CFI-1215 model. So what more is there to add at this point? What would you like to see tested?

I'm also open to ideas on PlayStation Portal testing, but ultimately, I feel it's a device that has some utility but the further away from ideal conditions you get (PS5 wired to router in the same room as the Portal) the worse it gets. I had a terrible time playing with it in a different room last night. I'm pretty convinced at this point it's standard Remote Play in a fancy form factor. But do let me know what you'd like to see!

Any other games/concepts/ideas for us? Do let us know!

PlayStation Portal review - I think the big question for me (given the screen size) is how does the experience compare to playing on a large phone / small tablet. Is there a measurable difference under either good network conditions or poor network conditions? As otherwise, you may as well stick with the equipment you've got.

PS5 remodel - I don't think there's any "public need" for coverage at this point (it's the model now, you may as well buy it); so just a chance to watch you geek out over the precise configuration of parts and take your thoughts wherever you feel like going.
