It's that time again! It's been a slow week for news (um, apart from the Microsoft deal stuff) but we shall continue regardless! We'll be discussing the fake Nintendo Switch 2 story and giving PSA warnings about the BS that's likely to come, and we'll also be discussing the most plausible Switch 2 leaks to date.

Beyond that there's discussion on the complete absence of RTX 4060 Ti 16GB reviews, that cool Mini ITX RTX 4060, the implausibility of a Sega Saturn 'mini' console and possibly some discussion on the departure of Larry 'Major Nelson' Hyrb from Xbox.

As I said though, a slim week - so feel free to weigh in with discussion questions below - and of course, your questions!

(I seem to have accidentally deleted my comment, as I'm somewhat new to Patreon) There have been a number of credible Switch 2 leaks that haven't been picked up by the media, likely because they were found during the era of "Switch Pro cancelled" backlash. I have been following them for some time, and would love to put them in from of DF eyeballs, if there is a way to do so. I realize that isn't a question, exactly, but I hope this reaches someone on the DF side. Cheers!

Hey guys, I'm a little curious on the behind the scenes of DF's workflow. With how many videos you guys make and the amount of recording that is necessary for those videos I'm sure you guys accumulate a lot of data. How do you store all that? Does everyone keep their own footage locally? Is there a DF team cloud account? And do you guys keep backups of videos uploaded just in case?

Why is it that enabling resizable bar is required for decent Intel Arc performance, but makes little difference for Nvidia and AMD GPUs?

Hi DF crew. Should be worried that the Sega Saturn Mini might have the same issues as the PS mini that being more 50Hz PAL games and 60Hz NTSC games or will be the same with the Mega Drive 2 mini where they were significant reginal differences to the western markets?

ive seen some really nice gains forcing it on via profile inspector. spiderman ran better...hell i posted here about how i seemed to be the only person that could play elden ring at 4k60 locked before they patched it. some games sow little to no improvment but it really wont show its potentilal until combined with direct storage or RTIO but hopefuly DS becomes the standard, nvidia lready gatekeep plenty

Hey everyone With the Qlite coming out I feel like Sony is missing a trick by not also having a wired connection using 120hz 1440p displays along aside the 60hz 1080p remote play option. It could use the same protocol as the Playstation VR 2 does. I often take My ps5 to hotel rooms and I love playing in handheld but remote play is often not up to the job yet. Love to hear your thoughts. Thanks

Thanks for the great content team! The new 4K 120Hz capture videos are impressive. But I was wondering if you can capture them with HDR also? Secondly, can you do a PC capture of something impressive at 120Hz? Those console captures are nice but so few people will ever get to see an RTX 4090 PC game in the flesh at true 4K 120Hz with HDR. Show us the best of the best please if its possible.

Hi DF Crew - less a question than a statement: MPV player supports VRR! Unlike just about every other option on windows. It's very handy when playing back those fancy new 120fps files available to patrons on, say, a 180hz screen. Just thought I'd share the good news! Thanks for the great content :)

With the rumour mill churning over both Switch 2 and PS5 PRO consoles - for which of the two would you feel most confident predicting the specs? I fall into perhaps an odd camp on the possiblity of a PRO console - I use mobile and console devices but not PC in any capacity (except at work). For me, owning the best that consoles have to offer - prevents me from going 'PC hardware mad' - and endlessly upgrading a custom build.. so I'd swap the sony box in a heartbeat; it would represent relative restraint.

What are your Top 3 older games you would like to see get the RTX Remix treatment? And what are the Top 3 recent or upcoming games you would like to see get RT Overdrive?

There have been further reports of a PS5 Pro. Can the DF panel imagine PS5 Pro versions of games being more expensive than $70?

Will there be anything steam Deck related planned in the future ?

It's fairly academic at this point, but I'd like to see a ray tracing showdown between RDNA2 and the RTX20 series. They're both the obvious choice for entry-level ray tracing performance due to being cheap and readily available second hand, and offer good value for money. It'd also be interesting to see the generational improvement between RTX2080 and RTX4080 in something like Quake 2 RTX.

Given the Banana Crisis we have going on, will Donkey Kong be alive in 20 years? :'((((((... But to be serious can one of yall tell me the benefit of videogames going to a subscription type service? I don't see how it would be good for the actual people who create games. We've seen what happens in the music and film industry and I don't see why videogames would be any different. Maybe this will be unpopular but paying $60-70 for a AAA game seems fair given all the effort put into a project of that scale, even then a portion of them don't get paid enough. Sorry to be a downer. In my younger days unlimited games for a monthly fee sounded like heaven. But now as someone who has to work for a living. I see it as the laborers being squeezed out of their income. Anyways love the channel! DigiGang for life!
