Coming This Week On Digital Foundry (Week 52, 2022) (Patreon)

Hi everyone, it's Rich here. We're all currently on vacation this week, so as you can imagine there's no DF #content meeting to report on! However, thanks to a massive assist from Oliver, we do have videos running across the break.

You've already seen the Best Graphics of 2022 video, which John and Alex recorded with Oliver on editing duties, while the DF Retro episode on Final Fantasy 13 has been split into two parts, with the first already published (the second goes live on New Year's Day). Supporters have access to the full episode right now, of course.

But there's still more to come! John competed his GOTY video before leaving while our three-way Let's Play on the path-traced version of the original Quake is also complete. Oliver has finished a breakdown on the RT reflections upgrade to Grand Theft Auto 5, while I did indeed finish my video on Lumen and Nanite in Fortnite running on Steam Deck. 

Depending on how the schedule works out, we may also run the last DF Retro Play episode too - this was a SNES Let's Play on 3D games that did not use the SuperFX chip! This one's available now to Retro Tier supporters, of course, and has been for some time!

Anyway, we're all back to work on January 3rd, so expect our next update then. I'll also be posting some early access opportunities across the break for Premium/Retro supporters.
