Hello there, Rich here with a spot of early access - an edit I just completed based on a conversation I had with John and Alex about the upcoming Gran Turismo 7. Plenty of material to discuss here plus a spot of Hooked On Classics to round off the show. Perfection.

Are you guys getting Elden Ring early ? Would like to know if ps5 or series x version is more stable. Cant decide which version i pickup. Or maybe i go pc and be able to play it on steam deck even tho maybe its not powerful enough for that game

The PS5 version was more stable in the network test, but there have been a number of months for optimization since then.

No idea what's going on with Elden Ring. Hopefully we will see optimisations from the beta, but typically, final performance is very close to the network tests on From titles. We shall see.

To be completely honest, I think Steam Deck should still be capable of running it. It has held up well against challenging games such as Control. Though I haven't been following Elden Ring, I wouldn't be too cautious. On the other hand, you could just wait till launch until the earliest Steam Deck gameplay surfaces?

Thanks Jack for your message. Im actually going to pickup steam deck anyway even if it could not run Elden Ring. I have desktop pc also but would be awesome if i could use same savefile with deck . Im pretty sure it can run it but what i should have asked is that could it be possible to run it 60fps with deck. Yeah maybe i just go with pc version and have deck as bonus even if it could not run it 60fps. I have 3060ti in my main pc so i should have atleast similar experience to ps5 and series x right ?

better bc A) that gpu is slightly more capable than the consoles and B) you will be able to mix and match settings and resolution until you hit locked 60, while on console we will left to hope for the best and pray
