Nice advice on home theater audio. I have 11.2 Atmos and a 110" projector screen with 4k/HDR, and the experience is unlike anything that can be explained; it has to be experienced. But at the same time, it makes it tough for me to find a new place to live that I won't be likely to anger the neighbors. Regardless, I agree that even a lower-tiered "humble" 7.1 system with a "modest" subwoofer is a big boost in gaming immersion (and movie viewing).

Please, keep hammering Sony on its lazy approach to back-compat. It's beyond the pale that fans are doing amazing work with lots of old PS titles, including PS3. Or that Microsoft has Sony beat in that dept. OK, MS had it a bit easier as they didn't create a chip-from-hell back then that keeps coming back to haunt them. But still. It's as if Sony internally cringes any time PS3 is brought up. Yes, it's a stain. Yes, you (Sony) absolutely have the capabilities to make it so the PS3-era is no longer a "gap".

Thanks for the time in taking my question! Im sure since the hardware was being pushed so hard developers finding no real pushback on games being only 30fps was reason enough to keep going there- whatever combination of things that mightve been. Fun fact: I have a high tolerance for motion sickness but Plasma screen's flicker brought me to my knees! CRTs never did, and even later Plasma models were better, so it's been fun reading about all the different monitor technology. Thanks!

I never thought I’d listen (watch) to a podcast about the video game industry but here we are. I’m even worse. I joined Patreon. I rarely even play video games… again, here we are. I really just believe you guys (As an aside, seriously, get some women on the team/podcast) are some sort of ASMR for me. I’ve learned so much from “Richer”, John, Alex and yes, even Tom over the years. That new guy? Eh. Not gonna lie, I don’t fuck with buzz… That said salute. Thank you. Keep doing your thing. Harlem all day. 🤲🏾🤲🏾🤲🏾

It should be back now! in the run up to the public launch, if we're not available to punt it live manually we have to set up a scheduled publication which takes it offline for a short while - sorry about that!
