DF Direct Weekly is coming, but may be a touch delayed owing to our antics with Russian crypto-scammers this week. Hopefully we'll still manage a Saturday release but in the meantime, how about an interesting test from the Elden Ring Network Test? Looks like both quality and frame-rate modes run unlocked on PlayStation 5. On top of that, neither of them hit 60fps. So what to do when VRR support is still in development? Well, if you're willing to take a graphical hit, the PS4 Pro version running under back-compat seems to get the job done, minus some minor cutscene stutter...

Wow, extremely disappointed with native PS5 app performance. Hopefully PC port will run better..

Horrible performance like we're used to from From. Such a shame that they make the coolest games but can never get framerate and frame pacing right.

Framerate mode is already so close to 60 so i wouldnt be worried about that on launch. a 30 fps lock on the quality setting would be nice.
