Playing Empire Total War at the Dentist's Office lobby is intruiging.

I really enjoy listening to John’s thoughts. It’s clear that he really thinks deeply on the topics and shares meaningful insight. However, the great thing about Digital Foundry is that /everyone’s/ input is really valuable, so I’m also glad to see John being a little more aware about sharing the floor with others.

One question I have still is what is the longevity of this device. I read somewhere that Valve considers this to be a 30 FPS device, how will that look 3 - 5 years from now into this generation? Will settings have to be on low and effects like RT off in order to get performance goals over time. And who plays PC games under 60 (not much of a PC gamer myself but getting 60 FPS on PS5 and I don’t want to go back)

I'd like to hear more about what Alex was saying where certain graphical settings draw more power than others
