Hey guys, John here. Just wanted to share tomorrow's episode of DF Retro ahead of time! I finally finished up the rest of the library!

https://www.digitalfoundry.net/2017-08-12-df-retros-failed-consoles-we-play-every-32x-game-part-two

Beyond that, some heads up for the future. Next week I'm planning to tackle Sonic Mania and, beyond that, there is another Uncharted game on the way so you can imagine that'll get coverage.

...but for the Retro side I'm thrilled to report that I've found someone nearby that can provide me with any Atari Jaguar game I want for an episode on that system. While I won't be able to play every Jaguar game (there's too many) I should be able to go through a similar number as the 32x episodes and, hopefully, include the Jaguar CD in there. That'll probably hit sometime this fall!

Also, the Doom episode will finally hit this September which should also be a lot of fun!

Plus a lot more that I'm currently working on! Should be a great season for DF Retro and DF content in general. Can't forget that the Xbox One X is hitting this holiday!

Ditto what Tim said.

Thanks for finishing this up. So cool that you did ALL the games. Shadow Squadron definitely sticks out to me. I own it (but not a 32X...just ripped it with my retrode to play on emulators) - but your footage kinda makes me want to revisit it sometime. The 2 player mode is awesome. I think one person moves and the other shoots. I'm excited about ALL ports of doom on real hardware.

Another good episode. I really hope this sub-series continues in the future! Also that Hamster STUN Runner thing looked pretty wack, but maybe with some more time in the oven it could have been cool. Pippin!

Shart Carbuncle

Oh shit, speaking of Pippin, do you have access to an Apple Bandai Pippin?

digitalfoundry

I don't have access to one of those (and getting software for it is crazier) but I've been speaking to someone that has an NEC PCFX that I might do an episode on. That is also a fascinating thing.

Along similar lines, the MSX and X68000 are interesting systems to look into, but I don't know how dependent on Japanese language some of these systems are.

April Fools Day suggestion: do a meta video, compare 4K DF videos with lossy YouTube DF videos. You can choose deliberately bad YouTube examples under the auspices of April 1st satire!
