New Content This Week! (Patreon)

Hey guys, John here. Just wanted to give you a heads-up that we have some cool new videos on the way this week.

For one thing, we'll have a full look at Final Fantasy XII HD today after reviews start hitting. So if you're curious how the remastered version of the game stacks up against the PS2 original, be sure to check that out. Dave has poured a lot of love into the episode!

I myself am working on a video that will go live tomorrow covering an upcoming game on Nintendo Switch. I think you will be interested by the results. Can you guess which game?

Beyond that, Tom has been busy working on PS Now testing and should have some results on Wednesday. As Richard mentioned last time, PS Now supports PS4 games, uh, now so it's worth revisiting the service to see how it stacks up. I haven't seen it myself so I'm as curious as everyone else!

Beyond that, I'll be cracking on with DF Retro: Soul Reaver this week. This episode is going to have a special guest for the first time - one of the most knowledgeable guys on Soul Reaver that I know (Mama Robitnik over on NeoGAF) is involved and going to contribute some extra history on the subject. Should be interesting!

Also, if everything goes well, we'll have a bonus podcast with the founder of thelostworlds.net - a website focused on archiving every single detail buried within the rather unfinished game.
