It's here - the latest DF Direct Weekly! A prior version of this video had some framing issues on my feed during the Black Myth: Wukong segment, but this has now been fixed and we consider the video 'final'.

On the eve of release, the team ponder the dearth of Black Myth: Wukong PS5 reviews - and then some last-minute footage emerges. Will Judd joins the team to discuss the latest AMD Zen 5 problems, more rumours of Xbox exclusives coming to PlayStation 5, while The Verge bravely talk about the game nobody's supposed to be talking about but everyone's playing. Meanwhile, we don't actually have a Switch 2 release date, but apparently it's been delayed - what's going on?

And here's the customary additional block of text that points out that if you're new to the DF Supporter Program and want early podcast access to DF Direct Weekly, you should ignore any Patreon links elsewhere and click like crazy here for your exclusive feed: https://open.acast.com/public/patreon/fanSubscribe/593963

Hey, quick data point for John regarding Black Myth Wukong: I don't have a Steam Deck, but I do have a linux PC running the benchmark through Proton, and I can confirm the benchmark works, but more performance than usual is being lost through proton compatibility. My 4080 based system routinely performed around 15-20% below the results posted by HUB. It's probably possible to run it on the deck, but I'd wager it will look gross.

Fabulous as always lads! Cheers from Utah's Rural landscape! I also have a 4090 and a Series X. I would still rather play on my Series X, and its parked right next to my PC. The experience is better on my console. I know the games aren't as crisp visually and I can't turn everything up to 11. Its Quick Resume, Back Compat is better, I can put many of my old Xbox discs to use, and my elite 2 controller has less latency and works with every title seamlessly without the need to conjigure my settings.
