House status: WE HAVE A DATE. OCTOBER 17th. That's when our house SHOULD be ready. As long as there's no surprises, of course. I'm sick of surprises. But we have a date! Everything's been fixed, we've somehow gotten right back to where we were before all the legal hurdles, everything seems to be going well! We just might be able to move into our house this month after all! THE LIGHT, I CAN SEE IT! WE'RE ALMOST THROUGH THIS!

In other news, Leslie had a very nice birthday yesterday. We did all her favorite things: Ate sushi, ate cake, played a LOT of Final Fantasy XIV. She's gotten super into the game in a way that only Overwatch has ever grabbed her (and well, we know Overwatch ain't grabbing anyone anymore). It really is a fantastic game, coming from someone who still kind of hates most MMOs. At the very least, it's a wonderful distraction when house-related business is stressing us out.
