Hey guys! Hate to do this, but unfortunately, we're going to have to skip today's update.

If you've been following along with our blog posts, then you might remember that our pet chihuahua Bruce had dental surgery yesterday. The poor guy's teeth were so bad that he had to get almost all of them extracted. He had 17 (!) taken out in this one procedure. Sadly, that's just something that happens with older chihuahuas, all their teeth rots quicker than most breeds. He's made it through the surgery just fine, but his recovery was a bit of an ordeal. He was in a lot of pain, was leaking blood out of his mouth and nose, and couldn't eat or drink for a bit. He' gotten better today, he's finally eating again, but he's still not at 100%. Losing all your teeth is kind of a big deal, so he just needs a few days to rest.

As you can probably guess, the stress of the surgery (both before and after) really took a toll on us. Our clothes were coated in blood, we got maybe 3 hours of sleep, and our brains were fried. We just weren't in any condition to work on Rock Cocks. But he's getting better, and I think he'll be fine enough for us to get Friday's page done in time!

Sorry we have to miss an update! But I have to stress again, you guys saved our dog. The surgery cost us over $2000, and we would never have been able to afford it without your support. You've given us another 6 years with our best boy Bruce and we can't even begin to articulate how much that means to us. Thank you all so much!

Welp, my phone can't handle any more blog post. Here's a picture of the best goblin you all helped to save! See you all Friday!

Glad to hear that Bruce is on the mend.

Holy crap, and that's why we should be responsible when genetically engineering animals. Because as bad as it sounds for chihuahuas, it probably pales in comparison to the miserable existence of those hand-sized dogs. What has science done?!? Get well Bruce.
