Thank you all for the encouragement on the last blog post! Leslie can't wait for her week off. Should be coming up soon! Don't have much else to add other than I went to an eye doctor today and my eyes are still bugging me from the dilation, so I'mma make this a short blog post. Seth...hm. Was this just a way to nudge Melody into action and out of her self-imposed hermetic? It would explain his not putting up a fight when Suria suggested taking on Clover and Coral—he’s not a sentimental person (ref. the decision to hire Dakota).

I know this is supposed to make them look evil, but I honestly don't see it that way. Everything turned out for the better. I mean, it seems Seth intended to hire Coral and Clover anyway, and Melody probably wouldn't have done anything to improve her resort....

As much as it seems really shady of Seth to do this, I have no doubts that it would have happened eventually, and I think it's important to note that I _very highly doubt Melody would have left any differently_. At least this way Coral and Clover get to come along for the ride.

I don't think it was actually intended to make him look evil as much as just extremely pragmatic. As the others (including you) have pointed out, pretty much everyone in amd out of universe has acknowledged that a) The resort is kind of a dump, and b) Melody realistically probably wouldn't have done much to change it. So, Seth's actions, while harsh, are entirely necessary and justified.

Good to finally know why Elizabeth had been so quiet and glum looking! I thought she just felt bad for them and she's usually shy anyway, but looking back it's easy to see how she looked as likely guilt. As for Seth, I think he just sped up the inevitable, and at least he tried to help in the way he could. (Like we know it wasn't like him throwing money at it would have helped; it was Melody's management that was the issue, not a lack of money.)
